Dooley Named Director of Premium Hospitality & Donor Stewardship
IPTAY CEO Davis Babb has named Savannah Dooley the Director of Premium Hospitality and Donor Stewardship after three years serving as the Manager of IPTAY Hospitality for REVELxp.
In her new role at IPTAY, Dooley will strategically plan and execute gameday hospitality operations for all premium spaces, establish and maintain a comprehensive donor communications calendar, and collaborate with the Director of Donor Relations to assist with benefit fulfillment, endowment tracking, annual reporting requirements, and other related tasks as needed. Dooley will lead a team of hospitality and donor stewardship staff and the IPTAY Tiger Team, a professional employment program inclusive of integrated training and development.
“Savannah’s institutional knowledge, passion for the University, and understanding of job-specific tasks go unmatched in my experience,” said Babb. “Savannah is steady, consistent, strategic, and has a forward-thinking approach in all that she does. She is a quick study and can adapt to ever-changing situations. This, along with her support network, education, and professional experience, will serve her well in this position. We’re extremely fortunate to have Savannah on our team.”
In her previous role, she oversaw the premium hospitality operation at Clemson, which included managing full-time staff, part-time staff, and the IPTAY Hospitality internship program. Dooley implemented effective policies, processes, and procedures to enhance internal operations and positively impact the overall customer experience. She was instrumental in facilitating all premium hospitality communications, including menus, operations guides, pre-game and post-game surveys, and weekly newsletters.
“The Clemson community and fans have been extremely supportive during my first three years at IPTAY,” said Dooley. “Their unwavering dedication has made my professional and personal experience here truly exceptional. I look forward to continued collaboration with IPTAY and CUAD to improve premium operations and foster stronger relationships with our donors.”
Prior to arriving at Clemson, Dooley was the Assistant Manager of Tennessee Athletics Hospitality, responsible for premium hospitality operations for basketball, football, baseball, softball, and marquee special events (concerts).
Dooley grew up in an Army family and, upon completion of high school in Chugiak, Alaska, attended the University of Tennessee, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in education. She was recently accepted into the Clemson MBA program and will begin classes this summer.
Dooley resides in Pendleton, South Carolina, with her fiancé Ryan and two dogs, Rocky and Whisk.
