The spring semester is well underway, and our spring sports schedule will soon go into high gear. Softball, baseball, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s golf, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s and women’s track and field, men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball, and rowing will all continue or start their spring schedules within the next several weeks. We are excited to see our student-athletes compete and represent Clemson at the highest levels.

We plan to bring you video updates from our coaches and current student-athletes during the spring. These will be available through our newsletters and the BLOCK C NETWORK. Please see the Network information included in this newsletter for a sign-up link if you are not already a member.

SPRING GAME WEEKEND

The Spring Game is scheduled for Saturday, April 3. With the exception of 2020, Block C uses the Spring Game weekend to welcome back our members for a host of activities, including golf, the Sons Bowl, several meals, special seating for the Spring Game, etc. 

We are still not sure what the protocol will be for the weekend, including the Spring Game. Please be on the lookout for the details.  

FOOTBALL ‘21

We hope that football ’21 will be back to normal, but there is no official word, and it probably won’t be until late summer. 

If you are a season ticket holder / IPTAY member, please be aware of the IPTAY deadlines. March 15: 50% of your IPTAY pledge is due to receive a ’21 football season ticket application in early April. June 1: all pledges for IPTAY ’21 year are due. For frequently asked questions surrounding the March 15 deadline, click HERE.

Block C is optimistic about being able to host some of our regularly scheduled fall events. There is no official word yet, but we are putting together tentative plans for Block C tailgates, reunions, and Hall of Fame weekend. The 2021 game day designations can be found HERE.

’21 BLOCK C MEMBERSHIP

Thanks to all of you who have sent in your ’21 membership dues. We sent our email solicitations back in August. It is obvious that many of you were waiting for the mailed solicitation, which we sent several weeks ago. Your response to the mailing has been fantastic! Please be sure to check your records to be sure you paid your ’21 dues.

Also, be sure your information is correct: sport, years participated, year graduated, and major. This information will help us with future sports-specific correspondence.
