All Clemson fans at any age! With giving options from birth all the way through planned giving, anyone can show their support for the Tigers by being a member of IPTAY. You do not have to be a Clemson University alum or former student-athlete.

IPTAY Annual Fund gifts can be made online on our website, in-person by calling 1-800-CLEMSON, or by mail. The IPTAY fiscal year runs from July 1 – June 30, and Annual Fund pledges must be renewed each year to continue membership. 

There are a variety of ways to go above and beyond your Annual Fund donation, with each giving option providing a unique way for members to make their additional impact. These options include – Major Gifts, Planned Giving, Young Alumni, Block C Club, Collegiate Club, Cub Club, Premium Seating, and Sport Specific Giving.

IPTAY Priority Points reward members for their total years donated and lifetime giving contributions. Priority Points are determined by a formula that utilizes both loyalty and contribution levels as shown here.

All new company memberships are required to be donors at the McFadden level ($7,250) or above. Annually, each company membership will be required to submit to the IPTAY office a certificate of good standing and a tax identification number or similar proof of company status.

IPTAY memberships cannot be transferred to another person. IPTAY memberships can only be passed to a spouse. Life Memberships are no longer available.

IPTAY is a non-profit entity with a volunteer board of directors that works with the Clemson University Department of Athletics to serve its mission by raising private funds and providing necessary resources to achieve success.

IPTAY is widely regarded as the father of athletic fundraising. The IPTAY scholarship fund traces its roots to the 1930s. Dr. Rupert Fike is credited with being the originator of IPTAY, but the seed that Dr. Fike needed for his now much-envied group was planted there by then-head football coach Jess Neely.
