What are the Truist Field and Clemson Family Tailgate COVID-19 vaccination and mask policies?

Truist Field and the Clemson Family Tailgate does not require individuals to be vaccinated or to present any documentation of vaccination.

In compliance with local law, all attendees over the age of four at the Clemson Family Tailgate accessing indoor areas of Truist Field, including the Budweiser Home Plate Club, are required to wear a face covering unless eating or drinking, regardless of vaccination status.  If you do not have a mask, you will not be allowed to enter any of the indoor spaces within the ballpark. Truist Field also requires masks when purchasing an item at our stands to protect staff when serving patrons. Patrons who do not comply with this policy, will be asked to leave the venue. Due to the significant number of infections of COVID-19 and the highly contagious Delta variant present in the Charlotte region and elsewhere, IPTAY and the Clemson Alumni Association encourages attendees to wear a face covering outdoors while attending the Clemson Family Tailgate.  IPTAY and the Clemson Alumni Association will provide masks for anyone who does not have one at the entrance at the main gate and the entrance to the Budweiser Home Plate Club.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Face coverings do not need to be worn by someone who should not wear a face covering due to any medical or behavioral condition or disability (including, any person who has trouble breathing, or is otherwise unable to put on or remove the face covering without assistance), or who is seeking to communicate with someone who is hearing-impaired in a way that requires the mouth to be visible.

Should anything change with the current CDC guidelines and/or Mecklenburg County or Charlotte prior to your event, you will be notified as to how it may or may not impact the event.
