Traffic and Parking Advisory for Clemson Basketball Fans

Traffic and Parking Advisory for Clemson Basketball Fans
Clemson Athletics reminds fans attending games at Littlejohn Coliseum to plan ahead and arrive early during the upcoming Clemson Basketball homestand due to traffic and parking impacts caused by construction surrounding Clemson University’s Chilled Water Plant.
These changes will be in effect from February 4 through February 11 as men’s basketball hosts Georgia Tech (2/4), Duke (2/8), and North Carolina (2/10) and women’s basketball hosts North Carolina (2/9). Impacts could continue for the gymnastics meet on February 14. Expect new traffic patterns and slowed traffic in the area.
Key Traffic and Parking Updates:
- Highway 93 Impacts:
- From Centennial Boulevard to the Duckworth Family Tennis Facility, Highway 93 will be reduced to one lane. Multiple lanes will be impacted, leading to potential delays.
- Fans are encouraged to arrive EARLY and allow for additional time getting to Littlejohn Coliseum.
- Parking Guidance:
- Lot 5: Arrive via Highway 76 and Perimeter Road.
- Avenue of Champions/Centennial Boulevard: Use Centennial Boulevard (from Perimeter Road) or Williamson Road from Perimeter Road.
- East Beach Area: Avoid the impacted stretch on Highway 93. When exiting postgame, plan to turn left onto Highway 93 or exit onto Perimeter Road.
- Pedestrian Safety:
- Pedestrians should use designated crosswalks when crossing streets to ensure safety.
- Law Enforcement Direction:
- Follow all instructions from law enforcement when arriving and leaving the area. Please remain patient and vigilant as you navigate new traffic patterns, increased traffic, and delays.
Fans are encouraged to allow extra time for travel and parking to ensure a smooth and enjoyable game day experience. Clemson Athletics thanks you for your cooperation and understanding.
