Both Clemson Men’s and Women’s Basketball heard their names called on Selection Sunday, setting the stage for an exciting March of Tiger Basketball!

Men’s Basketball was selected into the NCAA Tournament for the third consecutive season, securing the 8-seed in the South Region. This marks the sixth Tournament appearance under Head Coach Brad Brownell, and the program’s 16th Tournament appearance overall. The Tigers will play the 9-seed Iowa Hawkeyes on Friday night in Tampa, FL for their first round matchup.

Women’s Basketball earned an NCAA Tournament bid for the first time in seven years, marking Shawn Poppie’s first Tournament appearance as head coach of the Tigers. This is the 17th NCAA Tournament appearance all time for Clemson, and just the third appearance since 2002. The Tigers earned the 8-seed in the Columbia, SC bracket and will begin tournament play vs. the 9-seed USC (Southern California) Trojans on Saturday afternoon.
