IPTAY Board of Directors Adds New Member, Adam Witty

Clemson, SC – IPTAY, the fundraising organization for Clemson Athletics, is excited to announce the addition of a new IPTAY Board of Directors member elected to serve an initial two-year term. The process for election of the new member, representing District V, included the public nomination of a diverse pool of strong, committed candidates. Adam Witty, of Charleston, SC, was elected to fill the District V seat beginning February 1, 2024.

“The IPTAY Board of Directors is fortunate to welcome Adam to the IPTAY Board of Directors,” said Charles Dalton, Chair of the IPTAY Nominations Committee. “We look forward to Adam’s leadership and expertise in serving IPTAY and its mission to support more than 550 student-athletes. We are thankful for the interest of many qualified candidates during the public nomination process and look forward to Adam’s contributions during his term.”

The IPTAY Board of Directors is the guiding force behind IPTAY’s fundraising efforts, benefiting each student-athlete and their experience at Clemson. Helping steer IPTAY’s vision and mission during a time of change in college athletics, the role of the IPTAY Board of Directors is crucial.

About Adam Witty:

 Adam D. Witty is a 2003 graduate of Clemson University, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with a minor in Entrepreneurship and a concentration in Sports Marketing. He has served Clemson University as a board member and chair for the Arthur M. Spiro Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership and a committee on fundraising for the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business.

Witty currently serves as the Founder & CEO of Forbes Books, Founder & CEO of Advantage Media Group, Inc., and Co-Founder & Chief Branding Officer of Trouvaille Collection, LLC.

Adam and his wife, Erin, currently reside in Charleston, S.C., with their son, Ellis.
