2025 Louisville Clemson Family Tailgate

Join us on November 14 at Louisville!

The Clemson Alumni Association and IPTAY will be hosting a Clemson Family Tailgate at Churchill Downs’ Homestretch Club in Louisville, KY., before cheering on our Tigers against the Cardinals on November 14. Enjoy an afternoon of exciting action of Fall Meet Horse Racing at historic Churchill Downs before heading to L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium, 0.9 of a mile away.

Tailgate Details

Date: Friday, November 14, 2025

Start Time: 2:30pm

End Time: 6:30pm

Location: Homestretch Club at Churchill Downs, 700 Central Ave, Louisville, KY 40208

The Homestretch Club offers excellent views of the track in the key moment of the race as well as the Big Board. Enjoy indoor access to a private temperature-controlled club on the first level with ambient lighting and contemporary finishes including access to Rails, Terrace, Lounges, & Stadium-Style Seating. Take a break to place a wager, enjoy the Chef’s Table Buffet, and grab a drink from the 97’ bar, the longest bar in Kentucky.

Ticket Cost:

• $100 for adults 21 and older
• $50 for children 6-20
• Free for children 5 and under

• Admission to Churchill Downs and the Fall Meet
• Admission to Clemson Family Tailgate in the Homestretch Club
• Commemorative Churchill Downs Souvenir Glass
• Four Hour Event
• Open Bar
• Full Buffet

Tickets are non-refundable and will be available for purchase until sold out.  All tickets will be delivered via mobile delivery from Churchill Downs.

Menu:

Afternoon Snacks (2:30pm – 3:30pm):

• Midwest Dips and Chips: House-made potato chips, roasted garlic parmesan, beer cheese, and french onion dips.
• Warm Bavarian Pretzels: Buttered and salted soft pretzel and cinnamon sugar soft pretzel served with spicy brown mustard, beer cheese, and vanilla cream cheese glaze.
• Freshly popped popcorn.

Chef’s Table Buffet (3:30pm – 6:30pm):

Chef’s Current Churchill Downs September Menu:

• Garden Salad, caesar salad, fall harvest salad, penne arabbiata, roasted potatoes, honey roasted heirloom carrots, herb roasted chicken, cherry glazed pork loin, rolls, chef’s choice cobbler and assorted desserts. The November Churchill Downs Chef’s menu is expected to be released in mid to late October. 

Drink (Cash Bar, 2:30pm – 3:30pm | Open Bar, 3:30pm – 6:30pm): Woodford Reserve bourbon, Old Forester Mint Julep, Tito’s vodka, Dewars 12-year scotch, Slane whiskey, Ford’s gin, Bacardi rum, Herradura Blanco tequila, menu of Churchill Downs deluxe wines featuring a selection of, red and white varietals, imported beer selections, domestic beer selections, spiked seltzer, soft drinks, bottled water, and juices. (ID required).

• Clemson Family Tailgate tickets are only valid for the Clemson pre-game event at the Churchill Downs. Game tickets are separate.
